Here is Mya - a burmese from Hawthorn Rats. A present from Toyah there, I think she trained Mya to be as naughty as she could possibly be. A very clever young doe with more charisma and charm than most rats put together - just look at how she is about to pounce on the photo left --->

RIGHT: Templeton Sunshine (right) trying to push Valhalla Vixen (Cupid's sister) out of the picture! Valhalla Vixen is a seal point siamese with the most beautiful big eyes.
Left - Shunamite Caramac (aka Plague) A lovely little buff dumbo with ruby eyes bred by Alison Campbell. Full of beans (and anything else she can cram into her mouth and steal!)
Right - Templeton KC -Agouti Dumbo bred by Chris, Clare and Jessica Ashworth - sister to Sunshine (for those of you in your late 30s who remember KC and the Sunshine Band). As you can see she is also very naughty (must be the agouti gene!) KC was off everytime I tried to take a photo of one of the others - I am sure she was whispering "keep her busy Sunshine while I go shopping"
Left - Lillebi - sister to Nici above but belonging to my daughter Sally. A Mismarked Berkshire with a rounded belly!!
Right - Marshmallow - a champagne hooded pink eyed white dumbo bought for my daughter by Sue Lewis when my daughter's favourite rat was gravely ill.
Left - Twizzle - One of the newest addititions to the household - an agouti hooded rat from the Cheltenham Animal Shelter - so sweet, but very skinny - I expect she will be a bit plumper soon!!
Right - Twilight - yes, I know she is a pink eyed white, but when you let your children name their own rats you have to allow a "poetic licence!"

Left - the little ratty who had no name is now called Pasta (due to the fact that she loves any pasta - but enjoyed stringing spaghetti through her nest! - bought from a well known pet store, she is a banded roan)

5 Years ago we made it into the news - both in the papers and on the TV - with the launch of our unique Rat hammock.
That was then - there was no competition in the market place, yet we did not rest easy - new products were being launched - the Giant Hammock, the Cosy Toes, the Rat Pouch ..... on and on it went.
We are proud of our business and still feel we are unique in the market-place. Our hand-made products are made from the best materials - calico quilted material so thick that it outlasts many other less expensive materials used by some other manufacturers.
We also use the best quality webbing and tabs to attach the products to your cages .... remember, no matter how good the hammock is - if the tabs are poor quality - you may find that your "little darlings" convert the hammock into a useless cage carpet in less than a day!

I would like to give a really big thank you to Anita Jeram, well known artist, for the 3 images she did for me here at Acrorats - one has been incorporated as the new logo - I also sell some of the range of cards drawn by Anita on the "Ratty Gifts" section. Thank you so much Anita - who incidentally is also hooked on rats.

LEFT: Valhalla Cupid - my Russian Blue point siamese rex from Julie Oliver - One of the sweetest girls in the cage. Also stars with her sister in the "I am your Pet Rat book".
RIGHT: Camelot Tsua (pronounced sewer!) Agouti bred by Sue Lewis - she was one of the "Naughtiest" rats I have ever owned. Full of character, very loud and would stab you in the back for a piece of chocolate - mind you, that also sums up Sue Lewis! She was well known for her loud SQUEAKS at shows and anywhere there are boys!
Sadly Tsua passed away in 2006 but I can not bear to remove her photo from the site.
This is Cinny - I have no idea what colour she is - but will let you know as soon as I do *smile*
Cinny came to me at one day old with her litter mates and mum who was a naked rat - so we have absolutely no idea what the genes are - but she is a shy little girl.
Right - here is Brux - pasta's sister and a little rat that boggled at me with her eyes going mad with happiness when I first picked her up.
You can see her with her shiny trophy for winning Best Hooded rat at the Midlands Rat Club show in 2006 ....
.... She wasn't that impressed with the lack of yoggies inside!
Right - This is Mya's sister Thai - she is a Himalayan and is a lot more reserved than Mya. She often has to wait ages for her turn at the treats pot!
