Returns
You may for any reason cancel your order, at any time before the goods are dispatched, or within 7 working days (for UK orders, 14 days for overseas) from receiving the items. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Acrorats will make a full refund (excluding the cost of shipping the item to you), providing the goods are returned in a resaleable condition, with their original packaging and within 7 days of receiving the order. We will refund your payment within 14 days of the goods being returned.
We can not however be responsible for the cost of returning any goods. We strongly recommend that you use a tracked and insured postal/carrier service to return the goods to Acrorats. If you are returning an item which was associated with a Special Offer - then any goods received Free of charge as part of that offer must also be returned unused and in the original packing. If you when you receive your order there are any damaged or faulty goods within 24 hours of receipt by phone on 01452 549547 and we will arrange for a replacement to be sent to you. We may ask that the original item be returned to us so that we can return it to the manufacturer for inspection. . All notices of order cancellation, return of goods, or complaints, must be made in the first instance by phone - 01452 549547.
Please note that we will not accept returns of Lucky rips (unless damaged or faulty) or other consumables that are not vacuum packed. Please ensure you package your returns well as we will only refund when the product arrives back in a resaleable condition.

Overseas shipping:
Orders to non-mainland GB postcodes under 2kg will be shipped at the rates above. Orders over 2kg may incur extra shipping. You will be notified after you have placed your order and are free to change your mind prior to shipping. We will NOT ship out without your permission to pay any extra charges.
Orders beyond the UK will be sent by Airmail. We do not ship surface mail as we have found it to be unreliable and extremely slow. We will always work out the least expensive way to ship to you and inform you if any particular item is very heavy. You can either place your order on the site in the usual manner or you can email us with your order requirements and we can invoice you including the airmail shipping costs. If you order in the usual manner and pay UK inland shipping rates, we will email you to advise on the actual shipping costs and as if you wish to proceed with the order.
Please make sure that you are aware of your own country's import laws - we will not be held responsible if we send you an item that is confiscated at port of entry. Likewise, any customs charges imposed on your package once it enters your country will not be paid by Acrorats.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will not disclose information about you to third parties. We will only use the information we collect about you lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
Information collected by our site is only used to take and fulfill your order, and we will only disclose information to thrid parties for the purpose of delivering your goods. The type of information we collect about you includes; your name, address, telephone number & email address. The information we hold will be accurate and as up to date as your last contact with us.
You can check the information we hold about you on request by email. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. If you have any questions or comments regarding our privacy policy you should email us.
Delivery:
We aim to ship your order within 7 to 10 working days of receipt of cleared payment. Many items are hand made to order. If you require anything urgently then you should ring on 01452 549547 (leave a message if no one answers).
It is essential that you give is the correct shipping address at the time of placing your order. Please make sure that your PAYPAL account details are completely up to date and the the email address associated with your PAYPAL account is correct and that you check your inbox. We will ship to the confirmed address with Paypal. If you choose to ship to another address then you will have to verify those details with us first. If your confirmation email bounces back to us for any reason then we will endeavour to contact you by post - this will delay shipping your order.
We will ship your order as soon as it is ready. Please bear in mind that all the soft furnishings are made by hand in-house and are often made to order - if you are in a rush for an item but do not mind what colour/fabric you get, then please put this on your order in the comments box and your order will be shipped faster.
We ship on a Wednesday and a Friday each week.

We are so confident that our hammocks will "out-hang" those of our competitors, that we will replace the hammock tabs for free should they get chewed through!
We carefully choose long lasting materials - we do not say they are indestructable as rats are rodents and rodents have great big gnawing teeth! BUT we do have a lot of confidence in our products and over the years our choices for good quality matierals have paid off.
If you rats should chew through a tab turning your lovely hammock into a cage carpet - then just give it a wash, package it up and send it back to us here - we will replace the tabs and send it back out to you completely free of charge.
How can we do this? Simple - we know that not many rats ever bother with the tabs on our carefully selected materials - so that means we rarely ever get them back for repair!
